Vervi ("we", "us", or "our") operates the platform available at https://vervi.in. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our services. We collect information you provide directly, information generated automatically, and information from third-party services. Specifically:
When you register, we collect your full name, email address, username, password (stored as a secure hash), profile photo, and any optional profile details you choose to add (bio, location, website, professional details).
Payments are processed by PCI-DSS compliant third-party processors (Stripe, Razorpay, Cashfree). We do not store your full card number, CVV, or banking credentials on our servers. We retain only tokenised references, last four digits, card type, billing address, and transaction history necessary for accounting and dispute resolution.
We automatically collect device type, operating system, browser type, IP address (anonymised after 90 days), pages visited, features used, session duration, referral URLs, and error logs to improve our service and diagnose issues.
When you contact us by email or through in-app support, we retain the content of your messages and our replies to resolve disputes and improve support quality.
Our legal bases for processing under GDPR are: performance of a contract (providing the service you signed up for), legitimate interests (security, analytics, fraud prevention), legal obligation, and consent (marketing emails).

Vervi is operated from Goa, India. If you access our services from outside India, your data may be transferred to, stored in, and processed in India or other countries where our service providers operate. These transfers are made in accordance with applicable data protection laws, using appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses or binding corporate rules.
We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. When we make material changes, we will notify you via email or a prominent notice on the platform at least 14 days before the changes take effect.
